South Augusta doesn't have a Sports bar that can offer Sunday sales so people have to drive to other parts of Augusta to enjoy the same things that can be gotten on their side of town, risking DUI's and accidents. We should be afforded the same way of life as other areas of Augusta.  Other bars that are open on Sundays do not have a 50/50 split but no one does anything about it. We are calling on Augusta to make it fair for all bars to be able to serve alcohol on Sundays even if we are required to pay for an off duty officer for that day. South Augusta is the most populated part of Augusta yet it doesn't have half the businesses because the rules are not applied evenly across the city...we want that changed and call on the commissioners to make this happen
