George Franklin started this petition to The 18-20 year old smokers of the United States

I believe it is unfair to those who have been old enough to legally get addicted to cigarettes or other nicotine products to have a basic right relinquished from them.  Yes, the smoking/vaping problem is bad but this won’t stop the problem because now these kids will just find a 21 year old on a social platform to meet up and get a tobacco product regardless of changing age to 21. I’m an 18 year old man who was told that I could legally buy myself some cigars a month prior and to come back on my routine but be turned down immediately! It’s some frustrating news to get when you’re addicted and was told nothing about the change. Now what am I going to do, I have no government support to help me curb my addiction only making my hatred for our political business higher. I’ve become an anti-patriot and refuse to live under this tyranny of the corrupt government.  Grandfathering the smoking age will make the young adults of America to be more on board in the future politics of this country and making a more patriotic America. This is the land of the free right? But changing a right given to a young man or woman on their transition to adulthood is not going to fix anything but instead make this place even more unbearable.  If this law stays at 21 then I want the draft to be set to 21 and kick the armed forces recruitment officers off my campus!
