Southern Rail (Thameslink) is cancelling South London services
This petition had 552 supporters
Not only have we had to put up with the worst services in the past year, but Southern Rail are cancelling trains that are vital for commuters.
Southern Rail (Thameslink Govia) are planning to cancel all their services from the South London stations to Blackfriars, Farringdon, and St Pancras from next year (2018).
These services are packed full every day, and thousands of commuters will have to take an alternative, longer route to work, putting further pressure on the tube. The South London services are already packed full and already there is no space to get on the train some days.
This is unacceptable.
We are calling on Southern Rail (Thameslink) to keep their South London services. If they continue with cancelling this service, the Government should revoke their licence and hand the service to the TFL network.
