Why this petition matters

Over the last 4 years, to date, we have had 13 days where the water pressure has dropped in Chinnor, leaving residents with reduced water supply or no water supply. During each occasion Thames water has admitted there has been issues with supply. This has lead to stress and considerable cost to local businesses as they haven't had water. It has impacted on daily lives, with some days such as Friday 10th June, we had no water between the hours of approximately 0700am till 2300 pm.
The there needs to be more. Infrastructure within Chinnor, and Thames Water need to be held accountable for their failings in maintaining services. Refunds potentially being provided, as residents are paying for a service that they are not receiving on a regular basis. For perspective their are approximately 7000 people living in Chinnor and the problem.
