Thames Taxis Ltd is submitting that Thames-Coromandel District Council include funding for Total Mobility Scheme for Thames and surrounding areas in its Long Term Plan 2021- 2031. 

Total Mobility helps people with physical, intellectual, physiological and sensory or neurological disability who cannot access public transport in a safe and dignified manner. 

Registered users with a disability receive a 50 percent discount on taxi and mobility vehicle fares up to a maximum subsidy. Total Mobility is running successfully in Hamilton, Tokoroa and Waipa and many other towns.
