Why Distracted Driving shouldn't be a habit/&Extras/:

Distracted Driving is a prevalent problem in the world today: By supporting this "Anti-Distracted Driving Petition", we can hopefully help others address & recognize this issue.

Facts & Statistics:

• Between 2012 & 2019, over 26,000 people have suffered fatal road-accidents due to distracted driving.
• To this current day, there are more distracted-driving related accidents than any other road-way incidents.
• During 2019, their were over 570 pedestrian casualties due to distracted drivers.

Ideas for change/preventing the risk:

• If you're expecting a text message or currently making contact with someone over a device, make sure to pull over to the side of the road in order to efficiently complete the conversation you're focusing on. This seems excessive, but it does a lot more than you think.
• If you have a passenger onboard, let them access your phone, & utilize them as your "designated texter".
