Petitioning Textbook Companies

Lower the price of college textbooks.

Over 8 million lower and middle class students rely on the Pell grant and other financial suppplements for school. Yet companies like Pearson Education,Prentice Hall, McGraw Hill and others have exorbitant prices on textbooks. These outrageous prices are increasing student debts rapidly. And these publishers keep changing editions and marking up the prices to a captive market the lower and middle class student with limited resource. To make things worse most campus book stores enable this behavior, by not buying back older editions of text, marking up prices, or giving terrible return prices if they do buy it back. The goal of this is to make textbooks affordable for everyone. Sign this petition as well as the one @
