I’m hereby helping a friend who have been on unemployment for about a year since he lost his job in April 2020…The texas workforce commission is take a big advantage of us since they stop the unemployment benefits there are hundreds of thousands of us that received a notification of overpayment in my believe these payments should be forgiven and this was not our fault that we received this notice I know people are going to be struggling to pay back the unemployment overpayment benefits. We needs to fight this overpayment we need the governor Greg Abbot to forgive it like other states are doing this is really a struggling time for most of us that haven’t still find a suitable job or child care for our kids we needs to come together and do this as one community or our payroll and income taxes could be garnished next year if that’s so it would be a heart breaking for most family and individuals so let’s please come together and get this done before we start losing paychecks and income taxes. This is a critical time when pandemic is still lingering around this could be devastating if we lose and it will be a relief for most struggling families and individuals so please let’s sing this petition to help one another
