The state of Texas currently does not allow females to wrestle males not even as an exhibition match. This is an issue because a lot of teams don't have girls so it gives girls less opportunities to compete in their sport and earn points for their team. The solution to this would be to allow girls to wrestle guys of the same weight class with their coach's approval. Of course if the coaches decide they don't want to let their girls wrestle guys that's completely okay but it should be a choice instead of restricting girls from wrestling guys at all.
