The cases are continuing to significantly increase and some people aren’t vaccinated. People are getting sick and having symptoms but are forced to come to lectures because it’s mandatory. The classes do not maintain social distancing measures and people don’t wear mask. I understand that it’s no longer mandatory but that doesn’t mean we aren’t at risk. The Delta variant has been crazy and it’s only going to get worse. I believe it would be better to only have to come to campus for lab and have everything (exams included) online because it saves us the trouble from having to spread it or coming into contact with whomever has the virus. Overall, having lectures online allows us to comfortably focus on learning rather than having to be paranoid about safety measures not being followed and our health being at risk.
