Feb 18, 2012 — The best thing about this report is the statement from Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's Executive Director Brent Leisure, “Several years ago we had to resort to lethal means for control ..." Its both shocking and amazing to hear this comment which attempts to obscure and deny responsibility for the recent killings of the last year. It certainly seems that Texas Parks and Wildlife Department may be backing off on the plan to exterminate every wild burro.
