State Representative Travis Clardy introduced the Justin Bloxom Bill to the Texas Criminal Jurisprudence Committee and it passed unanimously!! It will be up for vote in the TEXAS House of Representatives before the end of April. Justin Bloxom was a 12 year old boy from Stonewall, Louisiana. In 3/2010, law enforcement says that he was lured into a cab by a 32 year old TWICE CONVICTED child sex offender who used his leased cab to kidnap and murder Justin. This law will provide for harsher sentencing, employment restrictions that will bring these convicted child molesters into your home or areas children frequent, and will also restrict them from driving taxi cabs and other modes of transportation for hire. I am beginning this petition on behalf of Justice for Justin Bloxom (Facebook) and The Justin Bloxom Alliance for innocence. Please sign this petition in support of the passage of this law so that we may protect our children. This law has already been passed in Louisiana and Oklahoma, and we are in the process of investigating the channels to get it introduced in Arkansas and Mississippi. Ideally, we would like to see children all over the United States protected by Justin Bloxom's Law! Thank you for your time and consideration!
