Due to bill SB8 being enacted by the Texas state legislature, I feel that it is only appropriate to share the burden of this bill with all those it could possible effect. Namely I feel that men creating unwanted pregnancies should also face consequences for their actions. After all no one woman get pregnant alone. Under my proposal every man who acts in a manner that would facilitate pregnancy should fine the same sort of civil punishment as do the doctors or women who are having abortions. It's 2021 and its high time that the burden of contraception no longer just be a women's issue. Under my proposal ALL men who engage in knowingly unprotected sex, as in sex that could result in pregnancy be fined $10,000. That's right time to start wrapping it up. It's high time women do not suffer the consequences for men who fail to use condoms 100% of the time.
