Free Mental Health Services for UT Students
This petition had 84 supporters
Like many other universities, the University of Texas at Austin charge their students for mental health services due to the lack of funding for the UT Counseling and Mental Health Center. Students deal with a great amount of stress here on the 40 Acres, and we should not be charged for every visit. Many of these services require more than one session, costing the students more money. To make the decision of getting help is hard enough for people, and the inability to pay should definitely not hinder that decision. Please help me bring awareness to this large conflict on campus by signing this petition in order to have free mental health services on campus.
