Allow a 5 on the AP U.S. History test to count for 6 hours of credit at Texas colleges

With rising college costs and increasing time to graduate for many students, any opportunity to test out of prerequisite courses is a boon to students. Currently, a 5 on the AP U.S. History test grants a student 3 hours of history credit of the 6 required by the state. Students who have clearly demonstrated proficiency in the material should not have to spend time relearning material when they could be advancing their education in other courses.
