Nyemah Jackson started this petition to Juvenile detention center Texas Juvenile Detention Center
  • Hey everyone my name is Nyemah Powell I am the wife of an Active Duty Military Sgt. We are located and based out in Ft. Hood Texas I would have never thought in a million years justice would play against our family and community as they do today. KPD can falsely arrest a kid and the kid can be held for however long at  the juvenile detention center because it is not considered a trial hearing. Texas Law States they can detain a kid for properable cause so basically if they think so with no evidence. They use a system stating the magistrate can stand in as the custodial adviser however the magistrate work for them. Which law officials can edit videos, lie, use prewritten affidavits signed by judges and refused a deaf kid to not have an interpreter during interrogation. We are calling on you guys to help us our kids are being falsely accused, and having their civil rights taken from them please help us No Kid Should Be able to Be interrogated  without a Parent or Guardian Present but Texas law states they can even in some cities they aren't even required to record the interrogation... Please you guys sign this Petition and share it. So many Mom's have to stand by whether Guilty or not and wait for the Juvenile detention  center to release their children it is a known fact that they hold your children for a month guilty or not for 30 days or else they would not get full payment for the bed. Each child bring in $3300 per bed per month. Whether your children are innocent or guilty that can take up to 6 months to a year for a trial to begin. They have been caught forging paperwork on juveniles and are currently in a audit. We ask for the voices of our people to give All kids a fair chance. We are not mad at the Laws in Place we are mad at the people who abuse the Law because they feel they are above the Law. Help us reach out to Texas state Juvenile Department, so we can come up with a better solution for due process on our children.
