Why this petition matters

Started by Warchief Red Lion

Hello to all that can feel my pain. My tribe is called APALACHICOLA PAKANA MVSKOKE BLUNTER'S BAND FIRE CLAN. My tribe emigrated to Texas from Florida in 1832 after the 2nd seperate signing of The Treaty of Moultrie Creek. Upon arrival to Polk County Texas my ancestors were promised by treaty goods and services and never received. We have not been properly identified as tribe and not been given just do. We have been robbed of our heritage and our land. We are small but strong and our ancestry will keep getting passed down to our youth. My tribe and I want what is truly ours; Identity and what was promised under the treaties signed by my 4th great grandfather Colonel John Blount/Blunt of Tuckabatchee Wind Clan and Chief of the Apalachicola Pakana Mvskoke. My name is Robert Cole of Houston Texas and I am Warchief KOWINOOWOKSI HUNNA/REDLION of the TOTKV/FIRE CLAN 12 TRIBES OF DAVIS. Thank you all that took the time to read a lil about my ancestry and truly appreciate what we can do together for the benefit of the youth of this great state of Texas and America. Peace and Blessings.
