Sandy provided an important defense of Texas when its name was taken in vain.  She is a pioneer in science and technology. She is the first female squirrel to make a home under the seas. She comforts Texans living across the world with her #1 hit song ‘I want to go home’. She is a missionary for pecan pie, bbq, and everything that makes Texas great. She should be honored with a statue at the Texas capitol.
