Texas is in desperate need of change. Our current governor is only concerned about the far-right agenda and that is making sure fewer people have a chance in life at success. The important issues in Texas are criminal justice reform, enhancing our infrastructure and power grid, border security without building a wasteful wall. Texas is one of the states in the union where the people cannot get Initiative and referendum like other states whose citizens want certain issues on the ballot to vote on. In Texas, we are at the mercy of our leaders. 

If the people ever want to have a meaningful discussion on cannabis reform laws, and criminal justice reform. We need to elect someone who is progressive enough to have these discussions. Matthew McConaughey is our guy, alright, alright, alright! 

We have a lot of prisons in this great state and I would bet you know someone who has been arrested and given a criminal record for non-violent drug offenses. It is time we end the war on drugs, which has turned into a war on people. How can we contribute to a better society when we trample down the very society. It is a problem when the punishment damages live's more than the drugs.
