We the people of Canyon Ridge Middle School are peacefully protesting against the enforcement of IXL during advisory time. Here are the points made by multiple students who find IXL terrible:

IXL takes away the time we have in our only stress-free class to work on homework, projects, studying, or simply hanging out with friends and taking a break.
IXL has taken away time to study for tests in other classes.
This program is enforced to help us catch up, but if we do not know the skill, how does it teach those missing skills- it doesn't.
The point system-

We find it stressful
If we have a 99 and we get one question wrong, our score goes down about 20 points, leaving us annoyed and stressed
The curriculum-

We have to practice our skills enough in math class, why make us practice even more with the same type of equations over and over and over and over again!
To sum everything up, please remove this from advisory time and put IXL where it belongs- in math class.
