We the people of the United States and of the great state of Texas, the 28th state of the United States, declare herein our revulsion at the self-acknowledged actions by one Kristen Lindsey, DVM, in Brenham, TX for her role in the egregious and unjustified murder of an orange and white male tabby cat.

Her revolting enthusiasm for her nauseatingly evil deed is soul shuddering. Proudly displaying her trophy, a helpless kitty cat, and crowing about her being deserving of an award for her actions is more than I can personally tolerate.

We are Texans, Republican and Democrat we are Texans. Native and transplanted we are Texans. Black and white and everything under the sun we are Texans, and as Texans, we believe in the value of ALL of God's creatures, and have determined to unify as a state in protection of them.

Therefore, we request the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners to respond swiftly and permanently revoke Dr. Lindsey's license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas.

Additionally, we hereby request the Austin County Sheriff's Department, and Austin County prosecutor to act swiftly and charge Dr. Lindsey under state penal code 42.092, and prosecute her to the fullest extent of the law.

There must never exist a lack of trust in the medical providers our families rely upon. Such heinous acts must be met with with the power of Texas Justice, recognized the world over for its commitment to punishing wrongs. This little cat can not be brought back-the actions of this woman have ended his life. But other cats can be saved by us responding with dignity, unity, and clarity of purpose.

This person has sullied her community, her profession, her clinic, and our state. It will not stand. The word Texas is derived from the Caddo Indian language "Tejas", meaning friend. This kitty cat was our friend; that we have never met is irrelevant, because when you harm one of us, you harm all of us.

And thus, it is all of us you shall deal with. Out of many, we are one.

We are Texans. And we defend our own.
