Install More Motorcycle Parking at Texas A&M

Howdy, everyone! As you may know, a new school year is upon us here at Texas A&M, and that means more students than ever are making the trip up to College Station! As the University continues to grow, Transportation Services is attempting to keep up with the increase in cars attempting to park at the University, but they're forgetting one thing!
When I started taking a scooter to class three years ago, the infrastructure was just fine! Parking was a breeze and it made life a lot easier. However, as the University takes on more and more students, more and more students have discovered that a motorcycle or a scooter is a great way to get around B/CS. With this sudden increase in motorcycle and scooter traffic, it is becoming harder and harder to find a place to park these two-wheeled fun machines. Places like the MSC are served by a single, tiny 'lot' near the 30 Minute Parking, and the entirety of Wehner is served by two small, about 10 bay parking areas. This leads to rampant double-parking and other issues. While there are 'mega-lots- near Evans and Heldenfels, I think that Transportation Services should conduct a study near the high-traffic areas of campus and potentially see if they can add parking for motorcycles around the very high-traffic areas of campus to better accommodate motorcycles and scooters.
