Hello!

A few students have come together to create a national petition regarding the overcharging of tuition and fees as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to amplify individual petitions created surrounding this issue and also highlight a collective voice for these concerns. We hope to continue building advocacy on local, state, and federal levels.

All of my classes are online. I’m not using any facilities on campus. I will not be using as many services available due to not being on campus. There’s no reason my tuition and advancement fee should be the same when I will not be in college station.

As an engineering student, we pay more than most of the majors because of the labs and practice classes. If I will not have the access to those this semester, tuition should definitely be decreased! UT already reduced their tuition for Summer 2020 by 50%, so we expect the same from TAMU as Aggies!

You shouldn't have to pay full tuition for a class I take at home. Honestly the school isn't paying for my internet or laptop or any class materials I would need, so they shouldn't charge full price.
