in Churchdown village next to Tynings Court stands a beautiful oak tree, home to birds, squirrels and a variety of insects. This mighty oak has stood proud for many years whilst houses have sprung up around, it provides shade in the summer and creates a beautiful multi coloured display in the autumn. Now bromford housing association want to cut this beautiful tree down as the roots are lifting some slabs and as we all know slabs are more important than providing homes to nature and producing oxygen! The tree is also apparently preventing light from entering a bromford properties garden, I’m sure planners were aware of this oak tree prior to building!  Please help to stop this mindless destruction and save this beautiful tree. The tree was last pruned in 2015 and we feel another pruning would be a much better option leaving this amazing tree for generations to enjoy.
