Vincristine is a life-saving cancer drug that is critical in the treatment of a variety of malignancies, including cancers that impact pediatric patients. Recently, TEVA, a pharmaceutical company, decided to discontinue the production of this drug. This medication has no substitutions and has, therefore, left hospitals scrambling for options for patients in need. As healthcare professionals, students at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy have decided that it is our duty to advocate for these patients and explain why TEVA should continue to produce this medication.
