The international students have received with dismay the news of the transfer of Madam Fadzilla Bosman from her current position as the Head of Visa Management Office to the Academic Management Division. Studying in a foreign country is not easy. However, it can be less difficult if the process is stress free and have very supportive officers. Over the years, Madam Fadzilla has been the first point of call to all international students, and she has been very supportive, friendly, and always make Malaysia home for us even before we arrive. She is the first friend we know, the first sister and mother we have in Malaysia. We are very satisfied with the way she has been handling her office and a change is not needed now.

It is obvious that the visa office needs a friendly, supportive and active staff and Madam Fadzilla Bosman portrays all these qualities. We are not certain of the future of the office if she leaves, and we cannot afford to leave that to chance.

We humbly request the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Faisal Rafiq Mahamd Adikan, the Registrar Dr. Musa Ali, the HR Department, the Director of IMCC Mr. Aizat Hisham Ahmad and all relevant person(s) to help stop the transfer of Madam Fadzilla Bosman out of the Visa Management Office.

We have tested Madam Fadzilla Bosman as the Head of Visa Management Office and we trust her to always deliver following her passion for her job and her love for students regardless of race, religion, or nationality. We cannot afford to let her go at this point. If our voice and opinion matters, please let her remain as the Head of Visa Management Office.

Help us sign and share this petition to stop Madam Fadzilla Bosman, a friend of all international students from being transferred out of the Visa Management Office.
