Wow.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am absolutely overwhelmed and sincerely grateful for all of your support, your signatures and your shares.

Today this issue was directly addressed by the government and they admitted that it would be a priority (after intensive care and sick patients) to start testing frontline staff.

As the world health organisation said, “Test, Test, Test!”. It is so vital to test people to know exactly where we are at with this pandemic, to know how many people have already had the virus either totally asymptomatically or with minor symptoms only, to know whether it’s possible to get immunity or to get it twice. It’s vital that staff who feel fit enough to work aren’t staying off because of other minor illnesses.

The main strain the NHS has always faced is excess demand and not enough staff. What lies ahead is likely the worsening of both of these conditions.

Please, please, please be responsible and follow the advice given by the government. Tough decisions and sacrifices need to be made but do not underestimate the severity of this. Protect yourselves and protect the nation.

I wish you all health,

Love,

Rebecca
