A Call for TESDA Accredited Assessors for Visual Graphics Design NC III in Central Visayas
Why this petition matters
Humans are endowed with unique gifts by God. These gifts may spring forth once exposed to their interests and inclinations. Youth should start now pointing their skills and talents, however young they may be.
The Philippines, though a developing country, has become the nest of skilled and talented youth. May it be sports, academic, or technical aspects of a young's life, they become the victors of their endeavors. TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority ) implemented TVL ( Technical -Vocational Education and Training) track in the Philippines. TVL track offers education and training to students and other clients to prepare them for work. They grant different and distinguished courses that develop students' skills useful for livelihood and technical plans. The students, who will be named candidates, undergo Assessment and Certification. Based on Tesda.gov.ph (2021) that the assessment process seeks to determine whether the graduate or worker can perform to the standards expected in the workplace based on the defined competency standards. On the other hand, certification is provided to those who meet the competency standards.
Included in the courses of the TVl track is the Visual Graphics Design NC III. According to Tesda.com.ph (2018) that Visual Graphic Design NC III Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to design and develop visual graphic designs for (i) logo; (ii) print media; (iii) user experience; (iv) user interface; (v) product packaging; and (iv) booth and product/window display. As we are now stepping into an information age, more and more people use computers. Many aspirants want to become pro Visual Designers.
However, Central Visayas greatly needs TESDA accredited competency assessors for Visual Graphics Design NC III. Others have not renewed their qualifications as assessors. And others went to another part of the Philippines away from Central Visayas.
