Autistic People Are Not Locked In! Stop Tescos Hosting The Glass Box Lock In

Tescos are allowing Caudwell Charity to host a 'Lock In' which means someone will sit sleep and be observed in a glass box for 50 hours in the middle of the store.
The problem We, the autistic community have with this is it depicts autistics as segregated from society. As alienated, as without a voice. We may not all communicate by finalising our words, some of us may use alternative means such as signing, typing or picture communication cards but we are FAR from being without views and opinions.
We are being depicted as less.
Caudwell have been exposed recently in the media as funding dangerous unproven unregulated treatments for autism https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/caudwell-children-autism-charity-a-magnet-for-quack-therapies-0cdh36gb8
This is an ableist and discrimitory event.
Please stop it! We have dreams and passions we are not locked in! If anything we stand out!
