Tesco's Woolwich Fix Your Seizure Inducing Lights!

On the 3/7/17 I put a complaint in to Tesco's explaining in a message on Twitter that their Woolwich branch's carpark light's were rapidly blinking and had caused me a nauseating sensory overload headache. I am autistic and have sensory sensitivities and Irlen syndrome, a visual processing disorder.

I was asked to contact a Tesco's 'people's champion' which I did and have heard nothing back.

On the 28/7/17 a lady named Samantha King posted on Facebook complaining that the Tesco lights in the same Woolwich Tesco's carpark had caused her to have an epileptic seizure on the dirty concrete floor with only her young daughter to call for help.

A complaint was made by Samantha to Tesco's, reportedly 8 of them to date and nothing has been done. I raised a complaint on her behalf on the 28th and was told it had been escalated to the maintenance dept.

The lighting has still not been fixed and has in fact grown progressively worse.

We ask that Tesco's have some common decency and put the customers health first by fixing the lights on both levels of the car parks. They are dangerous and Tesco's are now discriminating against those with a neurological disability!

Our organisation Autistic Inclusive Meets has been contacted by parents of autistic children expressing concern about this issue. www.autisticinclusivemeets.com
