This year, 'The Guardian' revealed that supermarkets create 1 million tonnes of plastic packaging each year, causing an undeniably devastating environmental impact.
With plastic massively damaging marine life, wasting space for land-fill and much of it being non-recyclable, the excessive use of plastic needs to be reduced immediately. 12 million tonnes of plastic enter the ocean each year, each piece taking 100's of years to degrade. 1000's of ocean creatures are killed on a yearly basis, by getting entangled in stray plastic and by eating this pollution.
Help to influence supermarkets to make a change.
