The focus of this petition is to challenge the government to address the lack of payment equality in childcare for all Canadians. Offering a unified rate to each family utilizing daycare education for their children. Children attending school are provided an equal education, are provided equal funding and receive equal attention. All Canadian children deserve equal opportunities of exposure of education regardless of where they fall in the economic percentile.

Some families feel financial barriers. All children should have the same level of free education. With the practices they have set in today's society, only children under the poverty line are given the opportunities to have a better education than the children whose parents have stronger economical opportunities. Some families are unable to afford daycare because of how much they make. Those families need the daycare to continue working to make a living. Families under the poverty line are given the option to put their children in daycares and their payments are subsided. Some families who have high-paying jobs do not necessarily feel the same financial impact as middle-class families. Middle-Class Families have not been provided equal opportunities for the same benefits. They do not get to give their children the same type of early education.

Children do better when exposed to Early Childhood education. Children are given so many learning opportunities when attending daycare. Children learn through play, which gives the children so many skills to expand on. The children are learning social skills and communication skills which are being expanded and challenged every day with Registered Early Childhood Educators. Children exposed to Early Childhood Educators are better prepared for school readiness. Offering this to all families regardless of their financial situation is provided with each child equal opportunities that would prepare them for the future.
