Rochester High School Intensive policy during corona outbreak
Rochester High School Intensive policy during corona outbreak
My fellow students of Rochester high
I believe that the cancellation of the incentive policy is justified with the spread of Wuhan (corona) virus, however I believe that we could still have the incentive and keep the school safe by simply basing the intensive off grades alone and not absences. That way we could have a reason for students to keep their grades up and prevent the spread of the corona virus. This cancellation of the incentive is a betrayal for students such as I who have followed its rules sense the beginning of the semester. The rules would be the same except that in order for an absence to be not counted you need a note from a doctor. I wanted to make it so that it is as fair and safe as possible to the students of Rochester community schools. Even though i know this maybe ignored i hope that Terry J. Dade (the Superintendent) and or any staff working in the Rochester community schools hear this message, and I hope that they consider this option.
