Tennessee State University’s Band Also known as the AOB, has many auxiliary’s added in to there performances along with there spectacular band. Such as Dancers, Flag, and the fantastic 4 Drum majors. The only thing that’s missing is Baton Twirling. This unique and crowd pleasing auxiliary is featured in many HBCU bands like Hampton University, Virginia State University, Texas Southern University, Georgia state University, and many more. This addition will provide and even more diverse performance as well as add a new talent for more students to learn. Baton twirling incorporates tosses, tricks, gymnastics, dancing, rhythm, and so many more key elements to expand a performance just like the dancers and flags. 
This opportunity will also give other females who do not dance or twirl a flag to learn a new skill or pick up a skill they haven’t perfected in a while.
