Michael Zdilla started this petition to Temple administration

The switch from Gmail to outlook has thrown lives of faculty, staff, and students into chaos. We are spending hours importing exporting, reconfiguring contacts, lists, folders, and message organizations instead of doing our jobs. So much chaos has resulted from this regrettable decision, and the justifications offered by the university do not justify the problems created. Temple Administration forced this decision on faculty, staff and students, did not provide adequate support for the migration, did not ensure the process would be smooth, and have left the faculty, staff, and students to clean up the mess. The amount of person-hours lost is incalculable.

Members of the Temple community are dedicated to the service of our students and our University, and should be able to put our time and efforts toward our students, our research, and our service activities. Not into troubleshooting our email accounts.

By signing this petition we affirm that the sudden and disruptive change to outlook has created an unacceptable level of undue strain on our schedules, and impeded our ability to perform our jobs. We further demand a return of the Gmail interface, and that the Administration find some other way to mitigate challenges with the existence of two email servers that does not disrupt the business of the University.
