As a member of the TeMoak Tribe "We the people" have seen how these election committees have held the members of the tribe from getting a fair share in our election process. 

  Article 7; section 9 states, Each band council shall APPOINT an impartial election committee composed of three (3) or more persons to conduct all band elections in accordance with this constitution and the Tribal Election Ordinance. And shall certify the results of such elections to the band council within five (5) days after the election. 

  Article 7 section 10 states; The Tribal election board shall be composed of one (1) of the members from each of the several band election committees. 

  Proposal: Repeal Article 7, Section 9 in it's entirely. And add to Article 7, Section 10; The TeMoak Tribe will have one (1) Election committee consisting of two (2) members per Band. These members will apply for these positions and be put on ballot to be elected by the TeMoak members. This election committee will conduct all band/Tribal elections accordance with this constitution and the tribal election ordinance.and shall certify the results of such elections to the band/TeMoak council within five (5) days after election.
