Christian Taylor started this petition to Temjen Toy (Chief Secretary of Nagaland)

Although illegal in Nagaland, citizens still murder dogs for meat. Dogs are transported in awful conditions from afar, and are slaughtered and eaten, as their meat is seen as a 'delicacy'.

You could raise the argument that it is just 'cultural tradition', but to me this argument is redundant, as you are skipping past the surface and not deciding whether something is cruel and inhumane. Despite my criticism of 'cultural traditions', I do appreciate that people's opinions differ, and what I may see as cruel and inhumane, could be seen differently.

I want to email the Chief Secretary of Nagaland with a petition of 1,000 signatures, asking him to use the police force to investigate and stop the illegal dog meat trade in Nagaland.
