Since war escalated in Ukraine earlier this year, there has been a physical battle in Ukraine, but also an online battle of information and misinformation.  Russia has been using troll farms, bot accounts, and propaganda channels to spread misinformation about the war and to spread hate speech against Ukrainians.

YouTube has ignored requests by the Ukrainian government to take down channels spreading pro-Kremlin propaganda.  It is estimated that over 90% of these Russian-backed propaganda accounts and channels previously reported for misinformation and hate speech remain active.

This war in Ukraine is not just fought on the battlefield in Ukraine, but online as well with the spread of information.  YouTube must take down these channels from their site.  By ignoring these channels, they aid and abet a terrorist state responsible for the slaughter of thousands of innocent men, women, and children.  

By signing this petition, we demand that YouTube deactivate these pro-Kremlin propagandist sites and stand for freedom, democracy, and peace in Ukraine in more than just words.  We demand that they do the right thing.
