Tell Walmart that GeoGirl is Bad for Girls and the Environment!
On February 21, 2011, WalMart will begin selling GeoGirl, makeup aimed at 8 to 12 year old girls, unless you demand they refuse to uphold their contract with Pacific World Corporation (the maker of the tween cosmetics). GeoGirl is being marketed as an eco-friendly product line that teaches girls to be environmentally responsible. But the branding is really a ploy to obscure the unnecessary and harmful consumption of beauty products by tweens and GeoGirl's exploitative sexualization of female children. Tell Walmart to refuse to sell GeoGirl on its shelves and in its online store.
