Tell the U.S. Army to Keep Religion Out of the War in Afghanistan
War is bad enough, but holy war is worse. Some US Army chaplains in Afghanistan have called on American soldiers to spread the word of Jesus to Afghanistan. They're distributing Bibles printed in local languages, too -- though the Army has subsequently confiscated a bunch of the Bibles and reprimanded some of the soldiers involved.
Please sign on to this email petition to make sure that the U.S. Army continues to put a stop to evangelizing on the part of U.S. soldiers in the Middle East and throughout the world. Such acts strictly forbidden by both the military's code of conduct and Afghan law, and increase the dangerous possibility of inciting mass Holy War in the Middle East.

Numerous news reports are exposing that evangelical Christians inside the military could be urging troops to give out bibles in Afghanistan...which is strictly forbidden by both the military's code of conduct and Afghan law.
We are nation built on the premise of the seperation of church and state, and this news is extremely troubling and endangering American lives because these actions can be construed as inciting Holy War in the Middle East. War is bad enough. Inciting Holy War could be our unraveling.
Thank for your hard work, but please also prioritize finding out who exactly is distributing these bibles and put a stop to it.
