In 29 states there’s no state law to protect lesbian, gay, and bisexual employees from being fired – and 33 states lack state laws protecting transgender people. That's right, 33 states.
This leaves thousands of hardworking Americans at risk, with no job security, susceptible to the whims of a discriminatory boss.

I'm writing you as a constituent and member of the Human Rights Campaign to urge the swift passage of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, or ENDA.
ENDA would offer simple workplace protections to millions all across the country -- the same protections straight people take for granted -- that they can't be fired for who they love.
