Tell the Alberta & British Columbia government you want training & certification required for Beauty Professionals (esthetics, laser, nails)
Today consumer health and safety is jeopardized by those offering cosmetology services without proper training & certification.
BeautyCouncil, working with industry professionals (estheticians, hairstylists, nail technicians) across British Columbia & Alberta, are asking for a regulatory framework to raise standards and provide consumer confidence for those receiving personal services such as manicures, pedicures, laser/IPL treatments, microdermabrasion, facials, and cosmetic tattooing.
Our CCP (Certified Cosmetology Professionals) members have received recognized training & have successfully completed both a practical & theoretical knowledge based examination according to international standards . In addition, many CCPs are voluntarily becoming BeautySafe certified to demonstrate their commitment to best practices in safety & infection control.
If you would like to raise industry standards by requiring all practitioners to have minimum training & certification (CCP, BeautySafe), join us in urging government & sign the petition today.
Together let's make this change, www.beautycouncil.ca
