This advertisement has not only misrepresented the goals of the Toronto District School Board's educational practices, but it also makes bold and unfounded claims that this curriculum will "confuse", and somehow "corrupt" young children. This commerial has been greatly offensive to Canada's transgendered community, and with suicide being a critical problem among GLBTQ youth in recent times, this advertisement is not only insensitive, but also most inappropriate. I urge SUNTV to follow the actions of the National Post and be a responsible media outlet by removing this advertisement.
