Tell Sprint to Waive Text Fees for Haiti Donations!
This petition made change with 175 supporters!
Three of the four major mobile phone providers have decided to waive text messaging fees for subscribers who want to donate to Haitian earthquake victims via text messages to the Red Cross and other organizations providing aid to survivors of the devastating quake.
But Sprint won’t waive the fees. Sprint says to its customers that “standard text messaging charges will apply, but they can switch to an unlimited plan.”
Sprint is trying to get people to switch to more expensive texting plans instead of helping to make it as easy as possible for people to donate to earthquake relief.
Send a letter to Sprint CEO Dan Hesse and tell him to have a heart and waive texting fees for Haiti donations immediately.
