In 2009, Bryan Krumm filed a rescheduling petition for Cannabis with the DEA. Last year the DEA settled that rescheduling petition and agreed to stop blocking Cannabis research and to allow more people to grow Cannabis for research purposes. Jeff Sessions has illegally ordered the DEA to ignore the recommendations of HHS, FDA and NIDA, and continue to block the DEA policy changes put in place as a result of Krumm's rescheduling petition. The head of the DEA, Chuck Rosenberg, recently resigned over this, stating that he doesn't trust this administration to obey the law.
By blocking implementation of the settlement from Krumm's rescheduling petition, Sessions is exerting his own medical opinion over that of the experts at HHS, FDA and NIDA, and practicing medicine without a license. He is interfering with Krumm's medical practice and placing millions of Americans at risk. Krumm has filed a criminal complaint against Jeff Sessions for practicing medicine without a license, with the New Mexico Attorney General's office. Tell New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas that Jeff Sessions should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of New Mexico law in order to ensure the safety not only of New Mexicans, but of all Americans.
