SERVICE DOG TRAINING IS AN ART. NOT A SCIENCE.
Seizure Alert Dogs for Life, Inc. has been served a subpoena to show HIPPA records of clients and it's CEO has been served a subpoena to give testimony about the records and the patent filed about the Vagus nerve Stimulator collar and the cell phone case that he invented for service dogs to make emergency assistance calls along with training techniques.
This violates client privacy and trade secrets under federal law.
Many service dogs that have been trained by Seizure Alert Dogs for Life, Inc. have been in the national media.
The NY Attorney General has made an attempt to shut this company down because a few clients refused to maintain training of their service dog.
From a client:
"Service Dogs aren't miracles. They are an enhancement to a plan you put in place to safeguard your family. You must as an owner of a service dog still train a trained dog every day for at least an hour. Like all humans an unused trained skill will diminish without use or practice. The training must be used with the person the dog is for and never expect everything to be perfect without it." - Angelo Stevens, father of Andrew
From the CEO of Seizure Alert Dogs for Life, Inc.:
"When you buy a car you have to change the oil. When you buy a computer you have to update the software. When you buy a house you have to mow the lawn and do repairs. When you buy a service dog you have to maintain training."
The investigation by the NY Attorney General is preying upon public sympathies and is politically motivated.
The service dogs perform very well and none of the complaints have merit:
"The order says to stop doing illegal things, but we’re not doing anything illegal,” said David P. Antonucci, Watertown. “I still don’t understand what they’re looking for.”
Mr. Antonucci said Mr. Sabin’s company is open and he has no intention of closing in five days."
Tell the NY Attorney General to leave Seizure Alert Dogs for Life, Inc alone.
