Facebook, now called meta, has allowed misinformation, anti-vaxxers, climate change deniers, far-right conspiracists, and extremists to dwell on their platform. it is a perfect place for someone to spread hate speech against basically anyone, as meta does not take their TOS as seriously as other websites like Twitter or youtube.

many horrible things have happened on the platform, from trolls leaking images of a teen that committed suicide to a grieving family, to islamophobes targeting the Rohingya people, to pro-rape pages being created and child abuse images and videos posted on the website,  and even child pornography being shared on the website.

we cannot allow this to continue. Sign this petition to tell meta to stop making excuses and take significant action against hate speech, ultranationalism, white supremacy, misinformation, trolling, and racism. Share this as well if you have any social media accounts.
