Tell LAUSD's New Superintendent: Let Jamie Oliver Help!

Celeb chef and sustainable food advocate Jamie Oliver began taping the second season of his Emmy award-winning show, Food Revolution, in Los Angeles, only to be completely blocked from filming anything going on in the Los Angeles Unified School District's (LAUSD) school cafeterias. A major part of Oliver's mission with the show is to improve school lunches, so LAUSD's decision was a huge blow to the Food Revolution. The first episodes of the show are just starting to air, and many parents, students, and educators are upset that Oliver hasn't been given the opportunity to make L.A. schools' lunches healthier.
There is hope, though: LAUSD has a brand new superintendent, John Deasy, and he has finally granted Oliver a meeting and tour of the central kitchen. He may be more sympathetic to Oliver's goal--as long as we turn on the pressure.
Sign our petition, and tell Superintendent Deasy and the LAUSD to let Jamie Oliver improve school meals!
