Tell Gov. Christie not to cut the NJ Affordable Housing Trust Fund

Dear NJ Lawmakers,

As a voter in New Jersey, I urge you to support policies and programs that help
create the homes and jobs our residents need. I hope you will:

●Restore the $30 million Gov. Christie is cutting from NJ’s Affordable Housing
Trust Fund. This money is being siphoned from dedicated housing resources. As a
result, NJ will lose at least $100 million in private investment, 1100 jobs and $1.3
million in local property tax revenue.

●Adopt a housing plan that really creates homes and jobs. Gov. Christie’s
housing plan and Sen. Lesniak’s proposal (S.1) will produce few, if any, homes and
jobs. People with special needs, seniors and working families need more housing
choices, close to jobs and public transportation.

I hope you will stand with the people of New Jersey and fight for the resources and policies we need to move our state forward.

Thank you
