I'm a screenwriter (among other things), and although I do own and use other screenwriting software which are "more" industry acceptable, I found that "Screenplay Formatter", a free for all Google Chrome extension created by "sjarvie", has been a tremendous tool in both formatting screenplays and collaborative work.

The person (or people) who programmed it and made it available for use (have I mentioned free for all?!) as a Chrome Extension has issued a statement that due to Google's being difficult to work with, they might remove the extension from chrome by July 1st 2022, which will be a real shame for anyone who enjoys this awesome feature.

Although this is not a "world changing" issue in the grand scheme of things, it is still a super useful and great tool, created by this/these generous person/people (sjarvie), that assists many artists, namely screenwriters - both professionals and amateurs, not to mention students, who need a tool that does the job and doesn't cost an arm and a leg (unlike some of the "industry-stamped" software out there).

Let's tell Google to NOT let its "pride" be in the way of benevolence and good will and good gestures, and help keep this awesome free tool accessible to all, by signing this petition, on behalf of sjarvie, who brought this tool to life - without asking for ANYTHING in return.
